Hi, I'm Natalie.
By day, I serve as the Owner and Head of Visual Design at Funsize, a digital product design agency in Austin, Texas, which I co-own with my husband, Anthony Armendariz. I'm also a co-founder at Kaba, an AI start-up that will hopefully revolutionize the way we think about artificial intelligence. And all of the time, I'm a wife to Anthony, a mom to Julian, a dog mom to Cooper, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a colleague, and an all-around chill person.
I've always been creative at heart—a trait I'll likely hold onto forever. Even at 5 years old, I was making (albeit futile) attempts to draw paper clothes for my Barbie dolls. In my free time, I love to indulge my right-brained self in activities like interior design, photography, cooking, baking, painting, beading, and exploring my own personal style.
I've always had a thing for photography, food photography especially. Then I got my hands on a Fujifilm X100V in July 2023, and it's been glued to me ever since. It's my go-to for our daily lives and travel. But then it hit me one day—all of those pictures were just sitting on my SD card, kind of like digital nomads with no real place to call home.
So here we are. I’m back on the internet with another attempt at playing house with all of my fickle fascinations.
